Delivery Driver — $22.00/hr Starting, Eads, TN

Join our company in Eads, TN as a delivery driver, bringing beverage products from the warehouse straight to customer accounts. You'll run your own route, handle product and deal directly with customers on a Monday-to-Friday day shift.

What the job involves

• Inspect your vehicle before and after each run and log any issues, following DOT hours-of-service rules for your license

• Drive a delivery truck safely between the warehouse and customer locations

• Unload invoiced beverage products (bottles, cases, pallets or hand-stacked) into customer accounts, placing items in coolers or on shelves where needed, and move stock between locations as required

• Confirm each order matches the invoice with the customer, get a signature and payment when needed, and handle any service issues that come up

• Take payments from customers, including COD orders, and log the transactions on their receipts

• Note any product errors or shortages on the invoice and bring extra stock back to the warehouse

• Keep the truck secure at all times

• Expect to move around 350 cases a day (up to 700 during busier periods), serve about 19 accounts daily (up to 30 when demand is high), and drive roughly 160 miles a day, which can rise to 200-300 miles for out-of-town or high-volume routes

• Be able to lift 50 lbs or more

Requirements

• Must be able to commute to Eads, TN 38028 (relocation required before starting if not already local)
