About this job
Our company is hiring a courier to drive a company vehicle, pick up and deliver packages, and check shipments against service standards. You'll also handle related customer service tasks and other duties as assigned.
Pay
- $22.11 per hour
What you'll do
- Operate a company vehicle to pick up and drop off packages
- Verify shipments meet our company service standards
- Handle customer service needs tied to deliveries
- Take on other assigned tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for the vehicle you'll drive
- At least 21 years old
- Able to lift 50 lbs and move heavier packages with equipment or help from a coworker
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance for customer-facing work
- Must meet FMCSA qualifications under Section 391, including passing a required medical exam (this is a non-covered safety-sensitive role)
- Able to stay alert and work safely throughout your shift
- Sufficient English skills to read traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials per FMCSA guidance
