Conestoga Truck Driver (14–16 Ft) OTR — $1,500–$3,000/Week

This job is for a driver running a 14–16 ft Conestoga truck on long-distance over-the-road routes, with some local route and delivery work. No CDL is required. You will plan routes with GPS, keep freight secure and deliver on schedule.

Pay

• $1,500 to $3,000 per week

What you'll do

• Drive on OTR and local delivery assignments

• Check the vehicle before runs and tie down your freight

• Load and unload by hand using safe lifting methods

• Follow your GPS route and pass along delivery updates when needed

• Stay within DOT and FMCSA rules, including any hazmat or dangerous goods rules that apply

Requirements

• Valid driving credentials that suit the vehicle and route; a CDL is not needed

• Past commercial truck or delivery driving experience, including manual transmission

• A safe driving record and the ability to handle freight

• Tractor-trailer experience is a plus

Nice to have

• Time on Conestoga, flatbed, reefer, tanker or auto transport freight

• Knowledge of cargo handling, freight paperwork and route driving

• Hazmat experience or credentials where they apply
