CDL-A Support Driver — Home Every Other Weekend

Our company recycles and distributes industrial wood and steel utility poles for electric utilities and industrial partners nationwide. They're hiring a CDL-A Support Driver to help keep deliveries moving and respond quickly when storm response or high-demand situations call for extra logistics support. You'll need to be ready for stretches of up to two weeks away from home during busy periods.

What you'll do

• Safely drive company vehicles to support deliveries and field logistics

• Haul materials, equipment, and supplies to project sites

• Keep accurate logs for mileage, deliveries, and compliance

• Stay in contact with dispatch and managers on routing, delays, and updates

• Step up during storm response or other emergency and high-volume periods

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Follow safety rules and regulations at the federal, state, and company level

• Represent the company professionally with customers and coworkers

Schedule and travel

• Normally home every other weekend

• Schedule can shift based on storms, workload, or emergency call-outs

• Expect overnight travel during major projects or weather mobilizations, with trips away from home lasting up to two weeks

Requirements

• Must live in the Midwest

• Valid CDL-A with a clean, verifiable driving record

• Able to drive for long stretches, including in tough conditions

• Reliable, safety-minded, and a strong communicator

• Able to lift, load, and move materials up to company weight limits

This is a full-time position.
