About this job
Our company is hiring a Class 5 pickup and delivery driver to run a straight truck or courier van on local routes in St. John's, NL. You'll load and unload shipments, confirm delivery accuracy, and keep your vehicle clean and safe while following traffic laws.
Pay
- $25.54 an hour
- Overtime after 9 hours
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
What you'll do
- Follow pickup and delivery procedures
- Keep accurate daily delivery records
- Load and unload the truck or van carefully
- Maintain your vehicle and equipment
- Provide good customer service
- Report any incidents or damage promptly
Requirements
- Class 5 license with at least 2 years of safe commercial driving experience
- Clean driver's abstract and criminal record check
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs with proper equipment
- Strong work ethic and good communication skills
