Class 5 Delivery Truck Driver — From $17.92/hr

Our company in Woodstock, NB is hiring a full-time Class 5 Truck Driver to handle customer deliveries and support the yard and store team. The role combines driving with warehouse and customer-facing work, and involves physical labor.

What you'll haul

• Building supplies such as windows, doors, cement, shingles and other materials, delivered to homes and job sites

What you'll do

• Drive safely while giving customers strong service

• Help out in the lumber yard, warehouse and showroom

• Load and unload product, and get trucks ready to be loaded

• Check that loads are secure and correct before heading out

• Keep the truck in good shape and complete required driver paperwork, including daily inspection checklists

• Stay in touch with dispatch to sort out any issues on the road

• Report any mechanical problems, accidents, injuries or rule violations

• Follow company policy and safety procedures, and take on other tasks as your manager assigns

Pay

• Starting from $17.92 per hour

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver's license

• Prior experience delivering goods

• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle physically demanding work

• Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather, in a busy, changing environment

• Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Good spoken and written communication; being bilingual in English and French is a plus

• Basic skills with hand tools

• Dependable, punctual, self-driven and safety-focused
