About this job
Our company needs a dependable Class 5 driver to deliver fresh produce and food products to restaurants and commercial customers throughout Montreal and nearby areas. You'll drive a 14-foot cube truck, handle loading and unloading, and keep clients happy with accurate, on-time service.
Pay
- $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
- Full-time or part-time hours available
What you'll haul
- Fresh fruits, vegetables and other food products
- Deliveries go to restaurants and commercial clients around Montreal, Laval and the South Shore
Responsibilities
- Drive the delivery truck safely to each scheduled stop
- Load and unload goods yourself, including heavy items
- Keep accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch
- Check your vehicle daily and flag any mechanical or safety concerns
- Treat customers professionally at every stop
Requirements
- Valid Quebec Class 5 license with a clean record
- At least 2 years driving a 14-foot cube truck or similar vehicle
- Experience in food distribution, produce or warehouse work is a plus
- Comfortable lifting and handling fresh food products
- English required; French is a plus
- Forklift experience and basic mechanical knowledge are assets
