Class 3 Tandem Gravel Truck Driver — $28.00–$30.00/hr, Year-Round

Our company needs a dependable Class 3 tandem gravel truck driver for year-round, full-time work hauling construction materials around Edmonton and nearby areas. You'll run newer, well-kept trucks on residential and commercial job sites.

Pay

• $28.00 per hour, with a separate posted range of $28.00-$30.00 per hour

• Expected hours: 40.0 to 60.0 per week

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts

What you'll haul

• Clay, sand and other construction materials, hauled and dumped safely on live job sites

What you'll do

• Drive a tandem gravel truck safely and professionally

• Fill out truck tickets and daily paperwork accurately

• Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections each day

• Keep your truck clean and flag any maintenance issues right away

• Stay in regular contact with dispatch, customers, equipment operators and other drivers

• Follow our company's safety rules and whatever each site requires

• Use good judgment and work independently on site

Requirements

• Valid Class 3 driver's licence

• Clean or mostly clean driving abstract

• Tandem gravel truck experience strongly preferred

• Experience around construction sites and heavy equipment is a plus

• Able to back into tight spots and dump safely on active sites

• Your own way to get to and from work

• Punctual, reliable and ready for early starts
