Class 3 Spare/Utility Truck Driver — $27.22–$28.21/hr + $1,000 Sign-On

WM Canada needs a Class 3 Spare/Utility Truck Driver in Cranbrook, BC, filling in on residential, commercial, or roll-off collection routes. This is a full-time local job, and WM is currently offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus to new hires.

Pay

• $27.22 to $28.21 per hour

• $1,000 sign-on bonus

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, weekends included

What you'll haul

• You'll run a heavy-duty truck fitted with a front, side, or rear loader depending on which route you're covering

• Loads are waste or recyclables, hauled to a transfer station, landfill, or recycling plant

• Some containers you handle will top 1,000 pounds, including wheeled bins you'll need to maneuver by hand

• Routes take you through tight spots like alleys, driveways, and crowded lots

What you'll do

• Run pre-trip and post-trip checks on your rig and fill out the paperwork that goes with them

• Flag any safety concerns, incidents, or service problems to dispatch or your supervisor

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year behind the wheel of a CDL-class vehicle, or comparable military driving experience in the last 7 years

• 18 or older

• Able to work legally in Canada and hold a valid SIN

• Valid DZ or Class 3 license (or higher)

• Able to clear a background check, physical exam, and pre-employment drug test

• A driving record that holds up to review

• High school diploma or GED is a plus, not a must
