Class 3 Recycling Collection Driver — Local Route, Tue–Fri

Our company needs a Class 3 driver in Quesnel, BC to handle curbside recycling pickup. You'll be out of the cab for most of the shift, hand-loading blue box material into the hopper rather than running an automated arm.

What you'll do

• Drive a Class 3 truck with air brakes on your assigned collection route

• Hand-collect residential recycling and load it into the truck hopper, including lifting and carrying bins

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections and fill out the required paperwork

• Haul collected material to the recycling processing facility

• Keep your Route Supervisor informed of anything that comes up on the road

• Pick up a few extra shifts in Prince George (4-6 days a month), with transportation covered

Schedule

You'll work Tuesday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Class 3 license with air brake endorsement

• A clean driver's abstract, no older than 5 days

• 2+ years of driving experience preferred

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle repetitive physical work

• Comfortable spotting basic vehicle maintenance issues

• Solid English communication skills

• Reliable, punctual, and good at working with others

• Prior experience in waste or recycling is a plus
