Class 3 Potable Water Hauler — $27.50-$37.50/hr

Our company in Lac La Biche, AB needs a Class 3 driver to haul potable water to communities and drilling rig sites using a tandem or tridrive bodyjob tank truck. You'll run scheduled routes, load and unload water, and keep everything safe and on time.

What you'll haul

• Potable (drinking) water, delivered to communities and drilling rig sites

• You'll operate tandem and tridrive bodyjob tank trucks

• Loading and unloading is done with hydraulic-driven pumps

Responsibilities

• Drive your assigned route safely and get water delivered on schedule

• Load and unload using the right equipment and proper safety steps

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and flag any maintenance or safety concerns right away

• Keep accurate logs of deliveries and routes

• Stay in contact with dispatch and customers to coordinate timing and sort out any issues on the road

• Follow all safety rules for handling water loads and operating large commercial vehicles

Requirements

• Class 3 Licence required

• Experience driving commercial vehicles (tractor-trailer, tanker, flatbed, or refrigerated); delivery driving experience valued

• Tanker endorsement needed; manual transmission experience preferred

• 3 years of Class 3 bodyjob driving experience preferred

• Understanding of bulk fluid transport rules and safety standards

• Comfortable loading/unloading fluids and handling hoses weighing up to 50 lbs

• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Mechanically inclined

• Prior experience on a drilling rig site is a plus
