About this job
Our company in Fort St. John, BC needs a Pick-up & Delivery driver to handle gas cylinder deliveries and pickups, plus some yard and warehouse duties.
Pay
- $26.07 to $32.58 per hour
- Plus cost of living allowance and Northern Living Allowance
What you'll do
- Deliver cylinder gases and welding supplies to customers safely and courteously
- Collect empty cylinders on your route
- Load and unload trucks with teammates, keeping loads efficient and compliant
- Plan your route based on the day's dispatched orders, drive to sites, pick up empties, and unload on return
- Handle warehouse and yard tasks as needed
- Keep your truck and equipment clean and well maintained
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 license with air brakes and a clean driver's abstract
- At least 2 years of delivery experience
- Customer service background
- Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs
Nice to have
- Forklift certification
- TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification
