Class 1A Shunt Truck Driver — From $21.34/hr

Our company Plant in Moose Jaw, SK, part of Donald's Fine Foods, needs a Shunt Truck Driver to keep containers and chassis moving between the plant and warehouse areas. You'll work a steady Monday to Friday schedule handling onsite moves and occasional offsite runs.

• From $21.34 per hour

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 11:00am-7:30pm

What you'll do

• Shuttle chassis and loaded containers between spots on the plant and warehouse site

• Handle some offsite moves, keeping pickups and deliveries on schedule

• Back trailers into position as needed

• Check your shunt truck, trailers and other equipment before each shift to confirm everything is safe to use

• Handle waste properly

• Help with loading tasks when needed, such as scanning, wrapping pallets or loading containers

• Check inventory daily and top up supplies

• Fill out paperwork correctly and pitch in on other tasks that keep the facility running smoothly

Requirements

• Valid Class 1A driver's license with 2 years of experience and a clean driving record

• Experience or certification operating equipment such as a forklift, reach truck or scissor lift

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable, hardworking and dependable attitude

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and wearing required PPE (steel-toed boots, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, hearing protection)
