About this job
A specialized heavy-haul operation needs a Class 1 Driver to run Tri Drive Winch Trucks, moving heavy equipment and crane gear on a full-time, permanent basis in Elkford, BC.
Pay
- $35 to $55 per hour (pay listed elsewhere as $38.00 to $55.00 per hour)
What you'll haul
- Heavy equipment, crane counterweights, and related materials
What the job involves
- Loading, unloading, and securing cargo safely
- Daily pre-trip inspections and paperwork
- Coordinating with dispatch, customers, and site crews on deliveries
- Helping with crane rigging and signaling as needed
- Following all safety and transportation rules
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver's licence
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Heavy equipment experience is a plus
- Clean safety record and reliable work ethic
- Able to handle physical tasks and heavy lifting
- Comfortable working solo or alongside a team
