This Calgary-based carrier is looking for a dependable Class 1 driver who can handle both automatic and manual trucks. You'll be trusted with pickups and deliveries while keeping safety and service front and center.
Pay
- $65,000 to $75,000 per year
- Overtime possible depending on workload
What you'll do
- Drive Class 1 commercial trucks safely
- Handle timely pickups and deliveries
- Load and unload freight, including hand bombing
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep logbooks and delivery paperwork accurate
- Follow traffic laws and company safety rules
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license
- Comfortable driving both automatic and manual transmission trucks
- Clean driving abstract for the past 3 years
- Able to lift repetitively and hand bomb freight
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work without close supervision
- Good communication and customer service abilities
