Class 1 Truck Driver — From $25.00/hr, Hadashville, MB

Our company is hiring an experienced truck driver for their Hadashville, MB terminal, hauling heavy building materials. You'll need a strong safety record and a Class 1 license to join this long-established transportation company.

Pay

• Starting from $25.00 per hour, based on experience

What you'll haul

• Heavy building products and materials, delivered to job sites and customer locations

What you'll do

• Check that loaded trucks match orders, meet weight limits and are properly secured

• Carry out required DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Operate your equipment safely and check that delivery sites are safe before unloading

• Follow all company, DOT and safety rules, including wearing required PPE

• Keep accurate logbooks and delivery paperwork

• Watch for mechanical problems and report them right away

• Stay in regular contact with dispatch and the office

• Report hazards, damage or injuries immediately and get medical help when needed

• Deliver friendly, professional service to customers

• Learn the company's products and services

• Take on other duties as needed

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license with air brake endorsement (AZ license required)

• Clean driving record and a strong focus on safety

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Good teamwork, customer service and communication skills

• English reading, speaking and writing ability

• At least 2 years of experience driving a Class 8 truck/trailer

• Experience delivering building products is a plus
