Our company, a family-run trucking company with three generations in the industry, is looking for an experienced Class 1 driver to run Super B-Trains, Step Decks, and Dry Vans throughout British Columbia and Alberta.
Pay
- From $1,500.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Super B-Trains, Step Decks, and Dry Vans carrying a variety of freight
- You'll load, secure, and unload cargo, plan efficient routes around weather and traffic, and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel use, and stay in touch with dispatch and customers on delivery status
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license with a clean driving abstract
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience (3+ years of Class 1 experience preferred)
- Solid track record operating Super B-Trains, Step Decks, and Dry Vans
- Good knowledge of transportation rules and safety practices
- Strong route-planning and navigation skills
- Comfortable handling different cargo types and securing loads properly
- Clear communicator with a customer-focused attitude
- Physically able to manage loading and unloading work
