Class 1 Truck Driver — FIFO Mine Site, CA $56.04/hr

Newmont is hiring a Class 1 Truck Driver for its Brucejack gold and silver mine in remote northwestern British Columbia. This is a fly-in, fly-out rotational role based at the mine's on-site camp, hauling materials, equipment, and supplies across the site.

Pay

• CA $56.04 per hour

• Fly-in, fly-out rotational work schedule with on-site camp accommodations

What you'll do

• Operate Class 1 trucks, trailers, and other site haulage equipment

• Haul materials, equipment, waste, and supplies between site locations

• Perform pre-trip inspections, basic maintenance, and load securement

• Keep accurate logbooks and transportation records

• Take part in safety meetings and hazard assessments

• Report equipment issues and safety concerns

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver's licence with a clean abstract

• At least 5 years of commercial hauling experience

• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safe load securement

• Experience with winch trucks, vacuum trucks, or off-highway equipment is a plus

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather on a rotational schedule
