Class 1 Truck Driver — $95,000–$105,000/Year, 5-On/3-Off

Our company Metal hauls scrap metal from customer sites to steel mills across the Canadian prairies. This full-time Class 1 driving role is based out of Edmonton, AB, with a path toward operator and crew lead roles down the line.

Pay

• $95,000.00-$105,000.00 per year

Schedule

• 5 days on, 3 days off, with 4 nights on the road and 4 nights at home

• Overnight stays away from home are part of the rotation

• Overtime opportunities available

What you'll do

• Drive to and from customer job sites and steel mills

• Help load and remove scrap metal

• Deliver loads of scrap metal to the mills

• Help maintain and secure equipment

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license, clean driver's abstract

• At least 2 years of professional Class 1 driving experience, including manual transmission

• Able to handle physical work: lifting 50 lbs or more, climbing ladders, walking long distances, and frequent bending

• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

• Legally authorized to work in Canada with no restrictions

• Skid steer, excavator, off-road, or mechanical experience is a plus, but not required

• Comfortable working as part of a team, adaptable, and safety-minded
