Class 1 Truck Driver — $45.91/hr

Our company in Saskatoon, SK needs a Class 1 driver to haul freight safely and keep deliveries on schedule. You'll be on the road regularly, handling cargo and working alongside equipment like forklifts at pickup and drop-off points.

Pay

• $45.91 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive a Class 1 commercial truck in line with traffic and transport rules

• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules

• Check your vehicle before and after each trip and flag any defects or maintenance needs

• Load, unload and secure freight, working safely near forklifts and other equipment

• Fill out trip, inspection and delivery paperwork accurately

• Stay in touch with dispatch, customers and site staff about deliveries

• Keep the truck clean and spot minor mechanical issues when you can

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 licence with a clean driving history

• Proven commercial driving background; freight hauling experience is a plus

• Comfortable with vehicle inspections and securing cargo

• Able to keep to schedules, handle paperwork and communicate clearly

• Forklift experience, heavy equipment experience or mechanical know-how are assets

• Capable of working independently with good judgment
