Class 1 Truck Driver — $27.00–$35.00/hr, Western Canada & BC

Our company in Red Deer, AB needs Class 1 truck drivers, both company drivers and owner-operators with their own trucks, to haul loads across Western Canada and BC. Most runs currently involve dry and wet sand plus mats. Super B train experience is a plus, but they'll train the right person.

What you'll haul

• Mostly dry and wet sand and mats, with routes throughout Western Canada and BC

Schedule and home time

• Shift work on Federal hours of service rules

• You'll sleep in your truck on the road; no hotel or camp accommodations are provided

Pay

• $27.00-$35.00 per hour

• Wages are based on load percentages

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver's licence

• Clean Commercial Driver's Abstract (CDA)

• H2S, First Aid, CSO (Common Safety Orientation), TDG and WHMIS certifications

• Able to operate an 18-speed transmission

• Comfortable working independently with little oversight

• Solid grasp of Federal Hours of Service rules, plus experience using an ELD for logging hours and completing Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports

• Strong attendance and reliability, tidy work habits, and a professional manner with managers, coworkers and customers
