Class 1 Truck Driver — $20.91–$36.98/hr

This Calgary-based role calls for a dependable Class 1 truck driver to move freight safely across assigned routes, with attention to proper documentation and vehicle upkeep. Prior experience helps, but the company may provide training on its own procedures.

What you'll haul

• General freight, moved to designated destinations on assigned routes

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, flagging any defects

• Load, secure, and unload freight, operating a forklift when authorized and trained

• Keep detailed records of trips, deliveries, inspections, and cargo

• Follow road-safety laws, hours-of-service rules, and customer delivery instructions

• Stay in clear contact with dispatch and customers regarding schedules or delays

• Maintain a clean vehicle and work area, and handle minor mechanical checks

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 commercial driver's licence with a clean driving history

• Comfort with freight handling and accurate paperwork

• Forklift certification or experience is a plus

• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is helpful

• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently
