About this job
Our company, based in Calgary, AB, runs reefer and dry van freight across North America and needs a licensed Class 1 driver for city and regional work.
Pay
- Earn 50 to 60 cents per mile depending on your experience
- Paid twice a month
- $100 for a 24-hour layover
- $20 for each extra pickup or drop
What you'll haul
- Reefer and dry van trailers, with trucks and trailers no older than 3 years
- Full truckload, expedited, and air-ride freight
Routes
- City driving plus runs between Calgary and Lethbridge or Edmonton
- Open runs may also be available
- Occasional overnight stays and mountain driving possible
Requirements
- At least 3 years of long-haul driving experience
- Able to cross the Canada/US border
- Clean driving abstract (5-year history required with application)
- Clear criminal record check
- Pass a drug test
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Comfortable using both electronic and paper logs
- Willing to stay out overnight when needed
