Class 1 Transport Driver / Shop Technician — $29–$34/hr

Innovex Canada ULC, a provider of wellhead and frac services since 2003, needs a Class 1 Transport Driver to support its frac business unit out of Red Deer, AB. You will split your time between hauling company equipment and helping out in the shop, reporting to the Frac Operations Coordinator(s).

Pay

• $29.00 to $34.00 per hour

• Expected 40 to 44 hours per week

• Full-time position

What you'll do

• Haul Innovex assets (frac, wellhead and service equipment) between branches, job sites, and supplier locations, using proper load securement

• Operate the shop crane and drive safely in all conditions

• Run forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods around the facility (training provided before you use this equipment)

• Handle materials by hand, including repeated lifting of up to 50 lbs

• Inspect and log lifting devices, cranes and forklifts daily per company standards

• Help in the shop with loading/unloading, truck and trailer upkeep, equipment assembly and disassembly, and general shop and yard upkeep

• Support Project Shop Technicians II and III with daily tasks

• Tear down and rebuild pressure-rated equipment, and perform hydrostatic testing on it

• Build work orders for upcoming projects and take apart equipment returning from the field

• Handle shipping and receiving of frac equipment

• Perform hydraulic torquing (training provided)

• Keep your work area and company vehicle clean and organized, and flag any worn or damaged equipment that needs attention

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver's license

• Clean driving history, with experience keeping both manual and electronic driver logs

• Experience driving on oilfield leases and oilfield roads

• Strong written and spoken English

• High school diploma or GED

• Mechanically inclined; comfortable working on your own or as part of a team

• Oilfield experience is a plus but not required

• Experience with hydraulics, forklifts or basic hand tools is a plus
