Class 1 Tanker Truck Driver — Hinton, AB

Timmons Trucking in Hinton, AB is looking for a Tanker Driver to move liquid loads safely and on schedule. You'll need solid commercial driving experience and a strong safety mindset for this role.

What you'll do

• Drive tanker trucks on assigned routes, following all traffic and safety rules

• Check your rig and tanker equipment before and after each run to confirm everything's in working order

• Load and unload materials, using forklift skills where needed

• Keep accurate logs, delivery records and trip reports

• Handle basic upkeep and minor repairs on your truck and equipment

• Help out with heavy equipment during loading and unloading when required

• Stay in close contact with dispatch, customers and coworkers to keep deliveries on track and sort out any problems quickly

Requirements

• Class 1 license held for at least 3 years, with a clean abstract

• Background driving commercial vehicles, ideally tankers or similar heavy trucks

• Familiarity with heavy equipment and basic mechanical repair

• Comfortable running thorough safety checks and following protocol closely

• Good communicator who works well with a team

• Physically able to lift, climb and inspect equipment as the job demands
