Class 1 Tanker Driver — 4 on 4 off Schedule

Our company needs a Class 1 Tanker Driver based out of Edmonton, Alberta to run deliveries across Western Canada. This full-time role runs on a 4 on 4 off rotation with 6am starts, and keeps you busy year-round with no downtime.

Schedule

• Full-time, 4 days on / 4 days off

• Shifts start at 6am

• Flexible availability needed, including weekends and overnight work

What you'll haul

• Tanker loads, along with general freight depending on the run

• You may also operate tractor-trailer, flatbed, dry van, reefer or straight truck equipment

• Freight needs to be secured properly using straps, chains and load bars

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely on local and cross-region routes, picking up and delivering to customer locations

• Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections (tires, brakes, lights, cargo securement) and flag any issues to maintenance

• Keep accurate records: e-logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork and incident reports

• Follow all safety rules, hours-of-service regulations and load securement standards

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license

• Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada

• Clean CVOR and driver's abstract

• Commercial driving experience within the last 3 months to 1 year

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• At least 5 years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience

• 1 to 3 years of verifiable tanker experience

• At least 1 year of Super B experience

• At least 1 year of verifiable mountain driving experience

• Solid understanding of safety rules and cargo securement

• Comfortable completing eLogs and other delivery/inspection documentation

• Strong customer service skills
