About this job
FCL is looking for a Semi Driver to join its Transportation Operations team in Saskatoon, SK. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position supporting grocery and wholesale deliveries across Western Canada.
Schedule
- Friday to Monday, 6:00am to 4:30pm
What you'll do
- Drive a semi-truck or body job unit on rural and city delivery routes, plus city pickups and trailer spotting
- Get trailers ready before deliveries
- Handle minor mechanical fixes on trucks, semi-trailers and reefers as needed
- Inspect trucks and trailers and note their condition
- Take on other tasks as assigned
- Report to the Senior Supervisor, Transportation Operations, and work alongside a team focused on safety, efficiency and customer service
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Class 1 license with at least 6 months of experience
- Must pass an in-cab evaluation with a qualified Transportation Supervisor
- As a safety-sensitive role, you may need to complete a substance test under FCL policy
