About this job
Our company, a maker of metal roofing and siding, is hiring a full-time Class 1 driver out of its Redcliff, AB plant. You'll handle regional hauls across Western Canada, delivering product from the plant to customer sites.
Pay
- $28.00-$30.00 per hour
What you'll do
- Operate truck and trailer safely between the plant and delivery points
- Handle loading and unloading at each stop
- Fill out delivery documents accurately
- Maintain electronic logbooks
- Stick to safety procedures and handle minor roadside fixes and checks
- Run a forklift as the job requires
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 licence
- Commercial driving background of 3 years is a plus
- No issues on your driver's abstract
- Comfortable loading and unloading freight by hand
- Works well as part of a team
