Class 1 Oilfield Transport Driver — $34.00–$40.00/hr

Our company is a locally owned carrier hauling frac sand, CNG, cement and agricultural products to remote and central sites across Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan. You'll run tandem trucks with pneumatic trailers, often reaching tough, hard-to-access locations.

Pay

• $34.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule

• Rotation options include 15 & 6, 21 & 9, 29 & 13, or 5 & 2 for dangerous goods drivers, depending on your experience

• Units have sleepers, and you will need to sleep in the truck while on shift

• Be prepared to be away from home for extended stretches during your rotation

What you'll haul

• Frac sand, CNG, cement, agricultural goods and other equipment, including hazardous materials at times

• Routes run to remote and central locations in Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan

Job duties

• Haul loads safely to assigned sites

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Keep electronic logs up to date and handle routine preventive maintenance

• Put on and take off tire chains as needed

• Keep your equipment clean and in good condition

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver's licence

• At least 2 years of Class 1 driving experience

• Must pass fit-for-duty and drug and alcohol screening

• Safety certifications like H2S and First Aid are a plus but not mandatory - training is provided

• Submit a resume along with your 5-year Commercial Abstract to be considered
