Class 1 Night Highway Driver — Starts 54¢/Mile, Up to 56¢/Mile

Our company is hiring Class 1 drivers for its dedicated Newfoundland fleet, running pin-to-pin between company terminals and customer sites on night-shift schedules. This is steady, year-round long-haul work with consistent miles.

Pay

• Starting rate of 54¢/mile, rising to as much as 56¢/mile with premiums, safety and loyalty incentives

• $1,000 sign-on bonus

• $1,000 bonus for referring another driver

Schedule and routes

• Full-time night shift

• Pin-to-pin operation on dedicated Newfoundland lanes

• Hiring applies across all Armour terminals, with work centered on St. John's NL, Grand Falls, Corner Brook and Channel-Port aux Basques

• Steady, predictable freight volume all year

What you'll haul

• Dedicated freight on Newfoundland routes, driving an Armour tractor-trailer between set terminals and customer locations

What the job involves

• Running scheduled pin-to-pin moves on time and safely

• Following all safety rules and transportation regulations

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keeping your paperwork accurate

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 licence

• At least 2 years driving tractor-trailers

• Clean driving record

• Clear criminal background check

• A genuine focus on safety and customer service
