About this job
Our company is hiring an LTL driver to run daily trips between Neepawa, MB and Winnipeg, hauling product and supplies on reefer trailers. This is a full-time, permanent position for a driver who wants to stay close to home.
Pay
- Starting at $22.00 per hour
Home time
- Based in Neepawa, MB with a daily round trip to Winnipeg, so you return home each day
What you'll haul
- Reefer trailers carrying product and supplies between Neepawa and Winnipeg
- Multiple LTL pickups and drop-offs, each requiring careful timing and accurate handling
Requirements
- Valid Class 1A licence with a clean driving abstract
- Must pass a background check, including a criminal record check and a drug test with a negative result
- Previous experience driving truck and trailer combinations in Winnipeg
- Comfortable hooking up reefer trailers and backing into loading docks
- Able to keep accurate electronic logs and prepare bills of lading and other transport paperwork
- Good communication skills and a professional, respectful attitude with customers and coworkers
- Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to pitch in on other tasks as needed
- Able to commute to or relocate to Neepawa, MB before starting
