Our company in Fort St. John, BC is looking for a lowbed truck driver to move freight safely in the oilpatch. You'll handle heavy equipment and deliveries while keeping everything in line with safety rules.
Pay
- $38.00-$45.00 per hour
What you'll do
- Haul freight to assigned sites on schedule
- Check your truck before and after each trip to confirm it's safe and compliant
- Load and unload cargo, using heavy equipment when the job calls for it
- Stay in contact with dispatch and your team about delivery timing or holdups
- Follow all road rules and traffic laws
- Handle minor mechanical fixes to keep the truck running well
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license with solid commercial driving background
- Knowledge of freight handling rules in the oilpatch
- Heavy equipment operating experience is a plus
- Good communicator who can work solo or alongside a crew
