About this job
Our company in Calgary, AB is looking for a full-time, permanent long haul driver to run dedicated lanes between BC and AB, hauling 53" van/reefer trailers with a straight or articulated truck.
Pay
- $27.00-$32.00 per hour
What you'll haul
- 53" van/reefer trailers, driving straight or articulated trucks
Routes
- Dedicated lanes between BC and AB
- Willing to travel 75% preferred
What you'll do
- Complete pre-trip inspections and keep your log book current
- Load and unload freight
- Follow safety rules for moving goods
- Stay in touch with dispatch and customers
- Use maps and navigation tools to find your way
Requirements
- Class 1 or A driver's licence
- Air Brake (Z) endorsement
- Secondary school education preferred
- 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- English preferred
