Our company Inc. is hiring a company long-haul CDN/US truck driver for flatbed and step deck work, with heavy haul or over-dimensional experience seen as a strong asset.
Pay
- Mileage-based pay for long haul; hourly pay for short haul
- Up to $9,000.00 per month
- Bonuses offered
What you'll haul
- Flatbed and step deck freight, including heavy haul and over-dimensional loads
- Cross-border runs into the USA and through mountain terrain
Requirements
- Class 1 (or Class A) driver's license with Air Brake (Z) endorsement
- Clean 5-year commercial driver's abstract
- Minimum 1 year of flatbed driving experience, including tarping, strapping and chaining loads
- Willingness to travel 100% and cross the US border
- English required
Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it's secure
- Complete paperwork and bills of lading
- Communicate with central dispatch
- Manage journey timing and understand load weights and dimensions
