About this job
Our company in Winnipeg, MB is looking for a Class 1 long-haul driver to run a fixed route hauling countertop freight to branches and suppliers across Canada. This is a flatbed/step deck position with regular nights away from home.
What you'll haul
- LTL countertop loads on flatbed, step deck or double drop trailers
- You'll also run a forklift to handle loading and unloading
Home time
- Set long-haul route with frequent overnight trips and travel away from home across Canada
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license
- Forklift certification (FloForm can get you certified after you're hired)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years behind the wheel on long-haul runs
- At least 1 year hauling flatbed, step deck or double drop trailers
- A clean driving history and no criminal record
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Able to lift 100 lbs with help from another person
- Fine with driving through winter weather
