About this job
Our company, part of the Chambers Group Of Companies, needs a local Class 1 driver in Golden, BC. You'll haul wood chips and wood residuals around the Kootenays and into Alberta, and you'll be home every day.
Pay
- $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
- $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid after you complete the 90-day probation period
- 4% vacation pay
- Overtime available
Home time
This is a daily-home local route.
What you'll haul
Wood chips and wood residuals, moving between the Kootenay region and Alberta.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 licence with Air Brake endorsement
- Clean commercial driver's abstract
- Physically able to handle the job's demands
- A safe, professional and dependable work history
- Class 1 driving, Super B trailer hauling, and mountain/winter driving experience are all preferred but not mandatory
