About this job
Our company in Delta, BC needs a Class 1 city driver to handle local pickups and deliveries. You'll run out of their Delta terminal, covering stops across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley on a Monday to Friday day shift.
Pay
- $27.00 per hour
Schedule
- Day shift, Monday through Friday
- Shifts start and end at the Delta terminal
What you'll haul
- Pickups and deliveries to various Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley locations
- Dry van and flatbed trailer experience is a plus, though not mandatory
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver's licence
- 3 years of verifiable local Class 1 driving experience
- Clean commercial driver's abstract
- Good communication and customer service abilities, with fluent English
- Comfortable working through different weather, temperatures and road conditions
- Accurate completion of paperwork and delivery records
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections per motor vehicle rules, and reporting any damaged or faulty equipment to management
