Class 1 Livestock Truck Driver — Regional Routes, From $71,500/Year

Our company, Canada's largest fully integrated pork producer, is looking for a livestock truck driver to run regional routes out of Brandon, MB. This is a permanent, full-time position with year-round guaranteed hours.

Pay

• Starting salary from $71,500.00 per year

• Regional routes, so you're not away for long hauls

What you'll haul

• Livestock, hauled safely and in line with company equipment standards

What the job involves

• Running pre-trip checks and inspecting the cab at the end of your shift

• Completing paperwork for data tracking

• Working safely and independently, with minimal supervision

• Meeting the department's standards and expectations

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 licence with a clean driving record

• At least 3 years of driving experience, including winter driving

• Comfortable backing up a trailer (1 year of experience preferred)

• Secondary school education

• English language skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work alone when needed
