About this job
Our company, a Canadian truckload carrier based in Woodstock, NB, is looking for team and single drivers to run long-haul routes between Canada and the US. Equipment is newer and maintained in-house, and loads keep moving with fast turnaround times.
Pay
- $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year, paid by direct deposit
- Extra pay for loading/unloading, picks/drops and trailer switches
What you'll haul
- Long-haul tractor trailer runs across Canada and the USA, as a team or solo driver
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license, or the education and ability to get one
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Clean current drivers abstract and criminal record check
- Passport and/or FAST card, or the ability to obtain one
- Comfortable communicating in English
- Able to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure cargo properly, keep accurate logbooks, follow HOS rules, meet DOT standards, and stay in touch with dispatch and customers
