Class 1 Heavy Haul Truck Driver — $120,000/Year

Our company, a Canadian civil construction company based in Sherwood Park, Alberta, needs a Heavy Haul Truck Driver to move equipment and materials across western Canada. This is a full-time role paying $120,000.00 per year.

Pay

• $120,000.00 per year

What you'll haul

• Equipment and materials using a lowboy paired with a jeep and booster

• Experience with side dump trailers is a plus

Responsibilities

• Run pre-trip and post-trip truck and trailer checks

• Line up the right permits before each haul

• Secure loads properly with straps, chains, or similar gear

• Follow all traffic rules and company safety procedures

• Track mileage, fuel use, and delivery details

• Stay in contact with the team to coordinate drop-offs

• Operate equipment on job sites and keep it clean and maintained

• Work follows Federal Carrier Hours of Service rules

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 licence with a clean record

• Heavy equipment experience is a plus

• Mechanical knowledge is a plus

• Able to lift heavy loads and handle physical cargo work

• Good time management and communication skills
