Class 1 Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver — Full-Time, Permanent

Our company, a long-running agriculture equipment dealer in Southern Alberta, is hiring a full-time, permanent Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver based in Lethbridge, AB. You'll deliver and unload large agricultural equipment to customer jobsites, store locations, and dealer transfers across the company's Alberta locations.

What you'll haul

• Large agricultural equipment using highboy and lowboy trailers

• Equipment delivery also using a one-ton truck

• Loads secured with chains, straps, binders, and other load-securing equipment

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment

• Navigate muddy terrain, winter conditions, rough roads, steep grades, and off-road terrain

• Travel independently to remote job sites

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and other required documentation

• Maintain truck and equipment cleanliness

• Report defects and maintenance needs

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver's licence with at least 5 years of successful commercial driving experience

• Clean commercial driver's abstract covering the last 5 years

• Knowledge of commercial vehicle safety regulations, NSC requirements, and hours-of-service rules

• Ability to tow trailers over 32 feet

• High school diploma or equivalency

• Comfortable with computers, including Microsoft Office 365

• Previous winching experience and heavy lifting ability

• Agricultural equipment experience and forklift training are assets

Pay

Wage is based on your training, qualifications, and relevant Class 1 driving experience; no specific figure is stated.
