About this job
Our company is looking for an experienced Class 1 driver to run gravel trucks with pony trailers and transfers around Chilliwack and out into the Fraser Valley. This is full-time work on manual trucks, with wages set based on your experience.
What you'll drive
- Gravel trucks paired with pony trailers and transfers
- All trucks run an 18-speed manual transmission, so you need hands-on experience with manual shifting
Schedule
- Shifts typically run 8 hours
- Work is based out of Chilliwack, covering routes into the Fraser Valley
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license (BC driver's license)
- About 2-3 years of gravel truck experience preferred
- Clean driving record, with a copy of your abstract ready to show at the interview
- Comfortable operating manual transmission trucks
Pay
- Starts from $1.00 per hour, with final wage based on your experience level
