About this job
Our company, a North Atlantic company, is hiring a Bulk Haul Operator to deliver hydrocarbon products like diesel, gasoline, Jet A1, furnace oil and propane safely and on time. Drivers from St. John's, Clarenville, Come-by-Chance or Goobies are especially encouraged to apply.
What you'll haul
- Clear and dyed diesel, marine diesel, gasoline, Jet A1, furnace oil, and propane
What you'll do
- Load fuel trailers following all safety rules and regulations
- Operate the truck and trailers safely, representing North Atlantic professionally
- Track fuel transactions and keep accurate fuel balances
- Complete pre and post trip inspections and manage electronic HOS logs
- Coordinate with dispatch on route and delivery planning
- Deliver to customers within a designated area
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience
- Valid Class 1 license with 9 or 9A endorsement
- 2+ years of petroleum or propane experience is an asset
- Clean driving record and drivers abstract
- Current loading privileges at Irving St. John's, Imperial Corner Brook, or North Atlantic Come by Chance are a strong asset
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Able to drive a standard transmission
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Must be able to obtain Marine Transportation Security Clearance Program (MTSCP) clearance
