Pay

Home time

What you'll haul
- Flatbed and step deck freight moved across Canada
- Loads secured with chains, straps and tarps
- Oversize freight experience is a plus
What the job involves
- Operating Class 1 commercial vehicles safely
- Securing freight properly for our company
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keeping logbooks and paperwork accurate
- Following provincial and federal safety rules
- Staying in contact with dispatch and customers
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 / AZ driver's license
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission truck
- At least 1 year of long haul experience preferred
- Flatbed and/or step deck background preferred
- Solid understanding of how to secure loads
- Clean driver's abstract
- Legally able to cross provinces
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Tarping, chaining or mechanical know-how are assets
