Class 1 Flat Deck Truck Driver — $37.00–$40.00/hr

Our company in Abbotsford, BC is looking for a Class 1 driver to haul flat deck freight for a full-time, permanent position. You'll handle deliveries, basic freight and equipment work, and help keep the truck running safely.

Pay

• $37.00-$40.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive trucks to get freight to its destination on schedule

• Check the vehicle before and after each trip to confirm it's safe and compliant

• Load, unload and secure cargo properly

• Keep accurate logs covering hours, mileage and fuel use

• Stay in touch with dispatch and teammates about routes, timing and any problems on the road

• Follow transportation rules at every government level

• Handle small mechanical fixes to keep the truck dependable

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

• 2 years of flat deck driving experience (preferred)

• Comfortable operating forklifts and other heavy equipment (a plus)

• Solid grasp of safe freight-handling practices

• Basic automotive maintenance know-how

• Good at managing time and juggling priorities

• Clear communicator with coworkers and customers
