Class 1 Flat Deck P&D Driver — Martensville, SK

Our company Engineered Wood Products makes roof trusses and floor systems for buildings across Central Canada. They need a Class 1 driver in Martensville, SK to handle pickup and delivery of building materials using a flat deck truck.

What you'll haul

• Building materials delivered to job sites and customers

• Loads secured to meet all safety and legal standards

• Item counts checked against paperwork for every load

• Products tagged with sales order, purchase order and customer reference numbers

What the job involves

• Daily pre-trip inspection of the truck and equipment, including an electronic check

• Taking direction from the Yard Manager or Shipping Supervisor on pickups and drop-offs

• Keeping clear, accurate time logs when required and following all driving rules

• Turning in completed paperwork to the Yard Manager or Shipping Supervisor after each trip

• Working within the company handbook and policies, plus other duties as needed

Requirements

• Valid Saskatchewan Class 1 license with Air Brake endorsement

• Clean driving record

• 1-3 years of experience driving flat deck pickup and delivery routes

• Valid forklift license with experience running a truck-mounted forklift

• Basic understanding of routine truck maintenance (oil, gauges, fluids, tire pressure)

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds over extended periods

• Strong work ethic, able to work solo or as part of a team

• 1-2 years of driving experience
