About this job
Our company is looking for an experienced Dump Truck Driver to haul materials on projects across the lower mainland of BC. You'll run a tandem dump truck and trucks with pony trailers, moving dirt, sand and gravel to help meet project production targets.
What you'll do
- Operate tandem dump trucks and pony trailer rigs safely and efficiently
- Hit production targets for material delivery
- Complete daily safety and maintenance inspections
- Keep an accurate log book for every trip
- Help out with other labour tasks as needed
Requirements
- At least 2 years driving commercial vehicles with pony and transfer trailers in the lower mainland
- Tri-axle experience is a must
- Strong knowledge of local major truck routes, scales and traffic laws
- Unrestricted Class 1 license
- Clean driver's abstract
- Legal eligibility to work for any employer in Canada
