About this job
Our company needs experienced local Class 1 drivers for a road construction project west of Sylvan Lake on Hwy 11. You'll haul clay from a borrow pit to the fill area, all within the job site, with no long-distance hauling.
Pay
- $30 an hour
Schedule
- 7am - 6pm
- 4 day long weekends off
- Start is asap
- Project runs about 2 months
What you'll haul
- Clay, from a borrow pit to a fill area, entirely within the job site
Requirements
- Class 1 license
- Tri-drive experience required
- Must be able to drive an 18 speed manual transmission
- Experience navigating soft ground, or hauling out of fields or grain, is an asset
- Clean 5-year commercial driver's abstract
- Able to complete walk arounds and daily paperwork
- Moderately mechanically inclined
- Must be within daily driving distance of Eckville, AB
