About this job
Our company in Acme, AB is looking for an experienced Class 1 driver who can also run ag and construction equipment. You'll haul highway loads as well as off-road work, and handle farm materials and livestock.
What you'll do
- Drive truck/trailer combinations on highway and off-road routes
- Load and unload grain, seed, fertilizer, equipment, cattle, bales, manure and silage
- Operate agricultural machinery and construction equipment
- Keep up with logs, inspection reports and other required paperwork
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 licence
- At least 3 years of Canadian Class 1 driving experience
- Comfortable with the physical demands of the job and able to work with a positive attitude
- English language proficiency
- Ag industry background, PAC/PDC certification, or mechanical skills are a plus, though not mandatory
Pay
$25.00-$35.00 per hour
