Our company in Vancouver, BC is hiring Class 1 drivers for long-haul runs across Canada and the United States, including cross-border trips. Both solo and team positions are open, and these are full-time, permanent roles.
Pay
- $200.00-$400.00 per day
The work
- Team drivers share long-haul and cross-border routes, splitting driving duties while keeping the miles steady
- Solo drivers run their own routes independently, handling deliveries and staying compliant with transport rules on their own
- Both roles involve pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading freight, and keeping accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Staying in regular contact with dispatch about routes and progress is expected
- You'll need to follow all transportation rules at the local, provincial, state and federal level
Requirements
- Valid BC Class 1 license
- At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug test
- Ready to travel long distances, including overnight and across the border
- Strong focus on safety, dependability and clear communication
